Coverage, Merchandising, & Points

Work! We have a lot to do!!!
I need two photo editors to check our Portraits against the name list of awesome...

Okay, so the most important thing you can do right now is something. Doing nothing will get you a one way ticket out of here. We have no time for wandering around, trying MMA moves on each other, or fixing anyone's hair.
We need:
  • Photos
  • Captions
  • Stories
  • Coherent layouts
Coverage
We all need to think about coverage. Here's some ideas:

Merchandising
We still need table cards and anything else you can think of... Let's get the word out.

Points
Have my class now? You can do yearbook for class credit.

Pop-outs, Pics, and Promotions Oh My!

 Editors:
  1. Our pictures need captions in the book
    • Be creative
    • Be appropriate
    • Be accurate
  2. Look at the Pop-ins... What ones can we use? Who will take pics for them?
    • If you hate the pop-ins, suggest ways we can tweak to make them
For those with design talent:

  1. QR Cards.
I'd like to design a card to distribute in the cafeterias with the following:
  • A message about buying the yearbook
  • A short link to our sales page (http://tinyurl.com/sgmsyearbook)
  • Our new QR Code for the Yearbook sales website.
A QR Code for our yearbook sales site. Right-click and save...
You probably want to design this using Photoshop or Illustrator, and print it using MS Publisher (business card template).

Work Day!!!!

Editors:

We'll be working on the layouts for our book today. Ask me to share the ladder with you. You need to start dragging layout templates into our book. We can change these later.

Staffers:

We need to upload some Photos. There's a new system for this. Ask me for a demo.

If you need something to do, ask. DO NOT sit there with nothing to do. We have a yearbook to make!
